Our S.B.S Fiji 2002 single cask yielded only 240 bottles. It derives from the South Pacific Distillery and is a
100% molasses-based pot still rum. South Pacific Distillery’s rums are recognised by their fruity, ester rich, Smokey,
almost medicinal and wild flavours. Fiji was among our first ever S.B.S releases and this expression was matured
entirely in an ex-Bourbon cask and bottled at cask strength in our warehouse in Denmark.
Nose: That funky nose you normally only will experience and associate with Jamaican rums, starts you off with
notes of acidic tropical fruits, wasabi paste and honey.
Palate: Smooth and dry in the beginning, initially slightly acidic followed by flavours of ripe tropical fruit and
honey with a long and slightly tingling finish. A funky rum from start to finish.
