Single Barrel Selection Guyana 1998 from Guyana was distilled on a column still in 1998. The marque of this rum is ICBU which is a lighter style rum of the prestigious Uitvlugt Distillery. The rum has matured in an ex-Bourbon cask and is bottled at cask strength, with an outcome of 154 bottles only.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Caramelized pineapple and honey with a touch of citrus. Very complex and constantly developing.
Palate: As complex as on the nose with endless flavor layers of tropical fruits and exotic spices. A surprisingly smooth and balanced rum with a very well integrated high abv.
