This 10-year-old Tamdhu 2013 was finished in Cask 800069, a Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon cask that yielded a whopping 698 bottles at its epic natural cask strength of 57.9%. Tamdhu is ideal for sherry cask maturation and this heavily sherried single cask might not be the most subtle whisky you’ll try this year, but it’s going to be ideal for fans of bold, robust sherried Speyside flavours.
