“A Highland Distillery” from 2005 should actually hide the fact that this whiskey comes from the Glenmorangie Distillery. 15 years in a sherry butt have turned this into an absolute top whiskey. The initially slightly “dusty” smells make you think you are walking into the warehouse of the distillery. The hearty combination of flowers, cherries, berries, oak, orange liqueur, dark chocolate and a pinch of mint will make you long for the first sip. And it reflects even more of these impressions, in which orange, oak, chocolate and especially white herbs predominate. The aftertaste is very tasty, without becoming too much. Distinguished and luxurious aftertaste.
