CLIMATE & TERROIR: Temperate continental climate. The grapes
come from the legendary terroirs La Morra and Serralunga
d'Alba. The soil is a calcareous sandy soil with traces of
magnesium and manganese.
VINIFICATION: The grapes from the different vineyards are
harvested separately, fermented in stainless steel vats and aged for 12 months in
oak barrels. Then the blending takes place,
followed by another 18 months of aging in large foeders.

ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: 14.00%
NOIS & TASTE: This Barolo has aromas of red berries, cassis,
tobacco, minerals and oak tones. In addition, floral impressions,
liquorice and some spices. The taste is powerful and tannic, but
refined and with a long aftertaste. SERVING SUGGESTION: Serve with meat dishes or with mature
hard cheeses.
FACT: The name refers to the Gromis family, from which the
Gaja family bought the vineyards. The wine is made from grapes from
Serralunga d'Alba and La Morra, and since the 2016 harvest also from the cru Broglio (Serralunga d'Alba).
