Perrier-Jouët was founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët. The couple founded the champagne house in Épernay, in the heart of the Champagne region in France and began producing their first Champagnes. This Belle Epoque Brut Rose is made from 50% Pinot Noir, 45% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Meunier. This Champagne has a shimmering, pastel salmon pink color with luminous orange tones. It gives aromas of strawberry and peony with the tartness of kumquat and white currant. On the palate you will find flavors of pink grapefruit and mandarin combined with the flavors of brioche and honey. Medium to full flavor with very fine bubbles that run and persist over the entire length of the wine. It is a complex Champagne that does not require aging to become beautiful.
