This 1997 Caperdonich Peated vintage has been matured in American oak barrels, bottled at cask strength and without chill-filtration. Rich on the nose, with aromas of orange, cranberry jam, honeycomb and bonfire smoke. On the palate, flavour notes of poached pears, ginger jam and roasted chestnuts are intertwined with notes of sweet peat smoke. The finish is sweet and smoky.
