Compass Box Celestial
With the Extinct Blends Quartet, Compass Box has explored the coasts, tropical islands and cities of blended Scotch so far. To end the series with dignity, they venture “beyond” the earth and take to the sky, through billowing clouds and glittering constellations.
Celestial accentuates the smokiness of its predecessor, based on malt whiskeys from the Ardbeg and Caol Ila distilleries. These are two packages they previously put together for the original No Name six years ago. Tar notes blend with the spicy character to create a beautiful interpretation of an older, refined style of smokiness.

TASTE PROFILE
Heavy peat smoke that starts on the beach as if from a bonfire and builds up to a smokehouse on the coast. Behind it lies a gingery richness, vanilla and grilled apples. The taste is dry and oak comes through strongly, with a full smokyness that flows into cooked tropical fruit.
