Château d'Yquem is one of the most popular sweet wines in the world. If the domain extends over 113 hectares of vines, the vineyard in production spans about 100 hectares, benefiting from hot and dry surface soils with large gravel. Clay soils make it possible to build up good water reserves. The aging of this wine is carried out in barrels for 20 months (with 15 rackings and a light fining).
