The Dalmore is a beautiful super premium whisky that is one of the few distilleries in Scotland that still has such old and rare stocks. A whisky with a story in a special bottle: The proud antlers of a stag have adorned the bottles of Dalmore from the beginning. Why? Because an ancestor of the Mackenzie Clan saved King Alexander III from a stag that wanted to pierce him with its antlers with a single arrow. The king was so grateful that the Mackenzie clan was allowed to use a stag on their family crest and since then the stag has adorned all bottles of Dalmore. The antlers have 12 points, which refers to the royal character of a heroic past.
Description The Dalmore 30yo is matured in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in exclusive Colheita Port casks. These Colheita Port casks have matured Graham's Colheita Port for 30 years. The maturation in American oak ex-Bourbon casks gives rich notes of fruit and spices.
