CLIMATE & TERROIR: A continental climate with relatively dry,
warm summers. The soils are rich in limestone and granite and covered
with round pebbles.
VINIFICATION: The harvest is kept in barrels for three weeks in which the
temperature of the fermenting mass can reach up to 30°C.
GRAPES: Grenache (80%), Syrah (20%)
ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: 14.50%
NOISE & TASTE: An elegant red charmer with noble tannins,
an elegant roundness and pleasant fleshy fruitiness.
SERVING SUGGESTION: Serve as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to
lamb, steak with pepper sauce and hard salty cheeses.
FACT: The Grenache grapes come from vines that are
on average more than 70 years old. The Rhône river in
this area was once 20 kilometres wide
