CLIMATE & TERROIR: A continental climate with relatively dry,
warm summers. The soils are rich in lime and clay.
VINIFICATION: The grapes ferment in concrete vats, where
the maturation of 18 months also takes place.
GRAPES: Grenache (50%), Syrah (50%)
ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: 13.50%
NOIS & TASTE: A spicy wine with sultry notes of red fruit
and a little liquorice. The Vieilles Vignes has a broad taste
with soft tannins and a nice spiciness and is very elegant.
SERVING SUGGESTION: Serve with roasted meat, game birds,
black truffle and mature cheeses.
FACT: Cuvée of equal parts Grenache and Syrah, from
vines planted in the 1960s. This Vieilles Vignes can mature in an exemplary manner.
