The grapes from the different orchards are harvested separately, fermented in stainless steel barrels, and aged in wooden barrels for 12 months. Then blending takes place, followed by another 18 months of aging in casks (large oak barrels).
This Barolo has aromas of red berries, cassis, tobacco, minerals and oak smoke notes. In addition, floral impressions, liquorice and something of spices. The taste is powerful and tannic, but refined with a long finish.
