A fantastic indie bottling of Croftengea, a peaty single malt distilled in the Loch Lomond distillery. This was aged for 13 years in a refill hogshead barrel, before being bottled at 255 bottles by North Star Spirits.

Nose: black pepper, followed by sweet and salted caramel.
Taste: The peat smoke is quite sweet and more sweet notes take over on the tongue. Sweet and salty at the same time as peanut and later more yellow fruit.
Finish: The aftertaste is smoky and fruity at the same time. Also here that delicious sweet and salty combination.
