Family owned and the oldest independent distillery in Scotland. One of the few distilleries where the entire process of making whisky is still done in the distillery. The distillation process is between 2 and 3 times, entirely in accordance with the Springbank method. delicious complex whisky in which the earthy elements can be found. Three different types of single malt whiskies are made.
Special edition of the Longrow series, matured for 4 years in ex bourbon barrels and then 3 years in pinot noir wine barrels from Burgundy. Total edition is 10,000 bottles.

Nose: Smoked bacon, forest fruits and figs, lots of alcohol, caramel and maritime
Taste: Warm with lots of (cooked) fruit, again the smoked bacon, sea influences
Aftertaste: Smoky with lots of red fruit
