CLIMATE & TERROIR: Mild continental climate with long, cold
winters and warm, often dry summers. The soil is rich in lime and
marl.
VINIFICATION: The grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks. Then follows
the malolactic conversion. Maturation lasts a few months and
takes place both in barriques and in traditional large oak
barrels. The wine then matures for two months in the bottle.
GRAPES: nebbiolo
ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: 14.00%
NOIS & TASTE: Elegant garnet red wine with delicate
aromas of currant, blueberry, cherry and spices. The taste is full and powerful
but with supple tannins and a long finish.
