Chivas Regal Royal Salute is a 21 year old blend of malt and grain whiskies, most of which are long past the age of 21. Royal Salute was first launched in 1952 to celebrate the inauguration of Queen Elizabeth II and has since been considered a standalone brand in the Chivas Regal range. The name and age are a reference to the number of gunshots used to mark the inauguration of the new monarch. The whisky is presented in porcelain jugs and is available in three colours (pink, green and blue) which refer to the stones on Queen Elizabeth II's crown. This is the Lunar New Year Special Edition 2025 bottled at 40%. The artwork is by illustrator Jason Lyon.

Taste: slightly spicy, aromas of oak and a hint of peat
