CLIMATE & TERROIR: A Mediterranean climate with warm summers
and fairly mild winters. The terroir contains calcareous sandy and red
clay soil full of stones.
VINIFICATION: The grapes are harvested at night and immediately
upon arrival in the wine cellar they are gently pressed and vinified at a low
temperature in stainless steel tanks.
GRAPES: Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah
ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: 12.00%
NOIS & TASTE: Light pink wine with purple reflections and an
explosion of fruit aromas including raspberries and strawberries. The
taste is crisp, smooth and accessible.
SERVING SUGGESTION: Serve at 10°Celsius as an aperitif, with
numerous snacks, salads, grilled prawns, BBQ and with oriental
dishes. FACT: Virginie is named after the daughter of the first owner of the winery Virginie. The estate is located near the village of Montblanc in the Languedoc, northeast of Beziers.
