The Mars Komagatake Shinshu Single Cask Selected 3202 for the Netherlands is a Japanese single malt whiskey from the Shinshu distillery that was bottled especially for the Netherlands. Vat number #3202 has been specially selected for the Dutch market in consultation with the master distiller of Mars. This whiskey was distilled in 2016 and matured in first fill bourbon barrel 3202. It was bottled at 62% ABV at the end of 2022, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 211 bottles.
Nose: fruity and soft with notes of apricot, banana and vanilla.
Taste: honey, vanilla and a softness of fruit such as mango and orange.
Finish: elegant and subtle.
