Bottled especially for the Benelux: Ledaig 2009. We very much like to bottle peated whiskey from the Tobermory Distillery. This Ledaig has matured in a small Rye barrel from the Koval Distillery.
Nose: Sweet, yet smoky notes of stone fruit. It's like walking into an old smokehouse.
Taste: Sweet smoke, poached pear and salted fudge.
Finish: Very long and pleasant. Salty peat smoke, soft friendly herbs.
