Niepoort Vintage Port 2011
is a very dark purple, almost black Port with a fine, very “vinous” aroma of black cherries, cassis and hints of black pepper.
The taste is very concentrated but remarkably fresh and elegant with a powerful structure of ripe tannins. Remarkably long!
The Niepoort Vintage Port 2011 will not be bottled until June and may not leave the cellar until early September. The Bioma Vinha Velha Vintage Port 2011 remains on pipes even longer and will not be bottled and delivered until spring 2014.
Please note: due to the low yield, the allocation for the Netherlands is a lot lower than before. After the subscription closes, it will probably have to be distributed.
