The Il Caberlot is the iconic wine of Poderi Il Carnasciale and is made from the grape is caberlot. This grape is so called because it is characteristic of cabernet franc and merlot. Il Carnaciale is the only winery that makes wine. The production consists of only 2,000 bottles per year and the wines are 95% bottled only in magnum and are distributed among the high-end Horeca. The labels of the wine bottles differ every year due to the hand-painted cross and the colors of the labels. The owner of the winery also writes down the bottle number with her hand per bottle.
