This winery Wilhelm Walch has been making wines from pinot grigio since it was founded in 1869. A wise choice, because this grape produces the best results in Italy in Alto Adige. The ripe harvest is transferred to Wilhelm Walch's underground wine cellar immediately after picking. There, the winemaking team ensures that a state-of-the-art destemming machine and crusher prepare the fermentation.
The wine ferments in stainless steel vats to preserve its fruity aromas. This produces a fresh, thirst-quenching and aromatic wine with a delicate herbal note and sufficient fruitiness to enjoy as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to light snacks and dishes.
