The Scaia Rossa Corvina is made exclusively from Corvina grapes from three to ten year old vines on the fertile limestone and volcanic hills around Colognola ai Colli in the province of Verona. The very carefully picked bunches are destemmed, the grapes are briefly soaked and then very carefully pressed. The juice therefore contains the most beautiful fruit acids and has little bitterness when fermentation takes place. The subsequent malolactic conversion provides the final wine with its silky and creamy structure.

The beautiful ruby red colored wine has floral aromas of red roses and violet in the nose and aromas of red and black currants, plums, blackberries and raspberries. In the mouth, Scaia Rossa Corvina is soft and creamy with a balanced juicy freshness and the right amount of tannins. This makes it ideal to enjoy on a weekday. Either as a delicious red aperitif or as a pleasant accompaniment to starters, pasta, risotto, grilled meat, dried sausage and cheese from the mountains.

The soils consist of a thin layer of limestone, pebbles, clay and sand.
