Limoncello di Sicilia is the most typical liqueur of our beautiful land of Sicily, produced by Distilleria F.lli Russo in Santa Venerina in the province of Catania. Our land is generous and offers us very fresh lemons all year round, in fact we have as many as four productions of lemons including the “verdello” and the first flower. In addition, our lemons, which come strictly from the Etna area and from organic cultivations, are quite small and their peel is very rich in aromas and intense scents that we manage to capture and transfer into our Limoncello di Sicilia, which becomes a liqueur of rare fragrance, appreciated in Italy and abroad.
It is a liqueur whose fragrance recalls the perfumes and aromas of the charming region of Sicily. Served ice-cold after meals it is a very good digestive drink, delicious on ice cream and fruit salad. It is an absolutely natural product, free from colouring agents and additives. The possible change of color and a light patina on the surface (the oil contained in the lemon peel) are a guarantee of the authenticity of the product.
Limoncello can be served as a dessert or used as an ingredient in a cocktail.
Tip: Serve Limoncello ice cold and pour it into very chilled glasses from the freezer.
