Planteray Single Cask 2024 Barbados 2016
The Planteray Single Cask 2024 Barbados 2016 is an exceptional rum that originates from the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados. This rum is made from molasses and distilled using both pot still and column still methods. The maturation process is carefully carried out in three stages: first four years in a 200L bourbon barrel, followed by two years in a 350L Ferrand cognac barrel, and finally one year in an Amarone wine barrel. This gives the rum its unique and complex character. Planteray’s Single Cask bottles are unique editions that embody the essence of craftsmanship and careful maturation. Each bottle comes from a single cask, meaning that the rum is not mixed with other casks. This ensures a unique taste experience that reflects the specific characteristics of the cask and the maturation conditions. The limited edition of these bottles makes them particularly sought after by rum enthusiasts and collectors.
