NOSE – aromatic, with lovely, fragrant top notes such as lavender, vetiver and incense candles. Underneath there are deeper notes of leather, almond notes and a hint of wax. A splash of water opens the bouquet, revealing wood smoke, damp peat moss, a hint of menthol and more antique leather.
TASTE – The mouthfeel is salty, yet syrupy, leading to a burst of huge, salty, savory, smoky flavors – eucalyptus oil, salted caramel toffee, smoked pecans, fragrant wood smoke, creosote and tar. There's also a sweet background, like a smoky pear crumble and some fudge.
FINISH – lingering finish, more leather, salted caramel and a cooling menthol-like sensation.
