Spies cognac V.S.O.P. is aged for 10 years in Limogines Oak barrels. As a comparison V.S.O.P. cognacs are already allowed to have this distinction after 4 years of aging. This cognac is considerably longer kept in barrels to mature it’s flavors. You can drink the V.S.O.P. plainly at the fire place or after a long dinner with friends. This cognac has tones of dried fruit, vanilla & cedar wood.
Cheeses like aged French or Gouda cheese are a good combination to enjoy the flavors of this cognac. Spicy meat like chorizo, prosciutto di Parma or salami are also a good companions.
