ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: 20.00%
NOISE & TASTE: The nose is intense but fine with delicate aromas
of butterscotch, dried fig and freshly ground coffee mixed
with marzipan and raisin. In the taste you can also taste fresh notes of
orange peel and apricot.
SERVING SUGGESTION: Serve Taylor’s VVOP at 12-16°C after a
meal, or as a dessert on its own. Also wonderfully combined with
figs, almonds and caramel. Think of a crème brûlée or wild
strawberries. Drink this wine within two months of opening.
FACT: Very Very Old Port (VVOP) is a new
category of port since 2022, consisting of ports that are approximately 80 years old.
