Served cool, the beer turns slightly cloudy blonde with an abundant foam head and strong sparkling. Westvleteren Blond starts with a fresh and fruity aroma of pleasant citrus and a strong zest of lime. The taste is nicely balanced with the sweetness of the malt and a firm bitterness coming from a good dose of hops used during brewing. The delicious citrus also provides a nice and refreshing touch in the taste, which extends to the excellently dry aftertaste.
