CLIMATE & TERROIR: A mild climate. The vineyards are located in
Vidor, one of the 15 municipalities of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene
Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
VINIFICATION: Second fermentation in small steel closed tanks
for one month. The total sugar content is approximately
8 grams per liter.
GRAPES: Glera, Bianchetta, Verdiso
ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: 11.00%
NOISE & TASTE: Lively and fresh with aromas of apple, pear,
lychee, jasmine and thyme. The taste is nicely dry with a fine
mousse.
SERVING SUGGESTION: A surprising combination with light
starters such as shrimps with mint and lime juice. Also good
for a light lunch.
FACT: The grapes for this prosecco come from the town of
Colbertalda, near Vidor. The area is called ‘Brunei’, after the ancient location where the Latin 'prunus' (plum) was grown.
