Tarapacá Gran Reserva Merlot
Tarapacá has different ways of making wine. This series represents the inherited tradition and prestige. With respect for the grapes and the selection of the very best plots, the pure character, finesse and balance can be obtained. They are fermented and then matured for 12 months in small French wooden barrels, which gives the wine extra seductive aromas. The wine is not cleared before bottling in order to preserve all the flavour.
Drink with: Autumn and game dishes, such as Pigeon with port sauce, Canard a l'Orange, Boeuf Stroganoff or other dishes with mushrooms.
Tasting note: Intense red colour and aroma of black sweet cherries, plums and something spicy. Juicy, smooth, intense in taste with aromas of the forest but still easy to drink.
Shelf life: The wines are ready to drink when they come on the market. They will then be at their best for another 3 years, fresh with beautiful fruit.
