The A.D. Rattray Vintage Cask Collection Invergordon 33 years old 1988 is a 33 year old Highlands single grain from the Invergordon distillery bottled by the independent bottler A.D. Rattray. This Invergordon was distilled on February 1, 1988 and matured in bourbon cask 8160. It was bottled on April 12, 2021 at cask strength of 48.9%, non chill filtered and with no added colourings, as a limited single cask release of 318 bottles.
Nose: Minerals with freshly peeled mandarins and lime (tart). Then pickled orange and syrup.
Palate: The tongue overflows with Tuttu Fruti, cola, dark demerara sugar and cherries.
Finish: again the cherries, almonds and more citrus fruit.
