Double Oaked is the first addition to the Woodford Reserve range since the brand was launched in 1996. Double Oaked was launched in February 2012. It starts life as a regular Woodford Reserve aged for around seven years. It is then transferred to deep casks that are given a light char. Maturation in these casks, structured by the cooperage, continues for around a year. Double Oaked has won a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition twice.
