The Zaanse Slobber is made from the herbs and fruits that you can encounter during a walk through the Kalverpolder, supplemented with the VOC herbs that are ground and available in the mill “De Huisman” at the Zaanse Schans. Complemented with our homemade extracts and tinctures of coriander, cloves, vanilla and cinnamon, a surprisingly rich, delicious and intriguing taste has been created, which has put the Zaanse Slobber on the map in one go.
A liqueur with 15 ingredients from the Kalverpolder such as poplar buds, thyme, orange peel tincture, cloves, pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon, blackberry juice, VOC herbs from De Huisman spice mill and sweetened with cane sugar.
